Empire imagines an Afrocentric world where ancient African royalty, Rastafari influence and cosmic energy exist within the same visual universe.

Rich with ancestral imagery, Egyptian-inspired architecture and the red, gold and green of Rastafari culture, the artwork presents Black identity through a lens of power, spirituality and sovereignty — looking backward to ancient civilizations while imagining an empire beyond time.

The cosmic atmosphere pushes the imagery beyond history into something almost mythological: a world rooted in ancestry but unrestricted by the past.

Flip the board over and the experience continues with a chessboard on the reverse, while glow elements transform the artwork when the lights go down.
